Yemek Yemek (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is developed and operated by Qualitfy Inc., Ottawa, ON, Canada. Our service connects individuals with restaurants and charities to reduce food waste.
2. Information We Collect

We do not collect government-issued IDs, precise health data, or biometric identifiers.
3. How We Use Your Information
- Provide core services — create your account, show nearby food, process reservations and payments.
- Improve and secure our services — debug, perform analytics, prevent fraud, and monitor reliability.
- Communicate with you — send confirmations, support replies, service notices, and marketing you can opt out of.
- Legal compliance — fulfill obligations under tax, payment-processing, and consumer-protection laws.
4. Legal Bases (GDPR & PIPEDA)
We process personal data only when we have a lawful basis, including contract (to deliver the service), legitimate interests (fraud prevention, service improvement), consent (location, marketing), and legal obligations.
5. Sharing & Disclosure
We do not sell or rent personal data. We share it only with:
- Payment provider (Iyzico) — to securely tokenize and process transactions.
- Cloud hosting & analytics vendors — for data storage, app analytics, and crash reporting (all bound by confidentiality).
- Restaurant & charity partners — limited data needed to fulfill your order (first name, order details, contact phone).
- Authorities — when required to comply with law or protect rights, property, or safety.
6. International Transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. We rely on contractual safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses) and encrypted transmission to protect it.
7. Data Retention
- Account & transaction records — 7 years (tax & audit).
- Location and usage logs — 24 months.
- Marketing contact lists — until you opt out or delete your account.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g., GDPR, PIPEDA, CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any right, e-mail yemekyemekltd@gmail.com or use the in-app “Request My Data” feature. We will respond within 30 days.
9. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards including HTTPS/TLS encryption, salted password hashing, and role-based access controls. Although no online service is 100 % secure, we continuously monitor and improve our defences.
10. Children
Yemek Yemek is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced via in-app notification or e-mail. Continued use of Yemek Yemek after changes means you accept the revised policy.
